Can I get cosmetic injectables after the Covid vaccine?

How long should you wait to get cosmetic injectables after your Covid vaccine? And can you still get cosmetic injectables like anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers if you have recently had Covid?

There has been discussion over the past couple of years around whether it is safe to get injectables before or after a Covid vaccine or illness and how long to wait.

Can I still get cosmetic injectables if I've had the Covid vaccine?

Yes, you can still receive anti-wrinkle injections or dermal fillers if you have had the Covid vaccine unless advised otherwise by your healthcare professional.

How long should I wait before/after the Covid vaccine to get cosmetic injectables?

It is recommended to wait at least two weeks before and after your Covid vaccine to receive anti-wrinkle or dermal filler injections.

If you have had an adverse reaction to the Covid vaccine or cosmetic injectables, your healthcare professional may recommend planning your vaccine and treatment further apart.

Can I still get cosmetic injectables if I've had Covid?

Again, it is recommended to wait at least two weeks after you have fully recovered from Covid to receive any injectable treatments. If you have experienced Long Covid, plan your cosmetic treatments once you are no longer experiencing any symptoms, including cough.
