Dr Barry Jackson is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia who has worked exclusively in skin cancer medicine at skin cancer clinics on the Sunshine Coast for eight years.
The former Advisor to the Queensland Minister for Health, Dr Jackson completed his medical degrees at Griffith University in 2010 before training and working in Brisbane, Mount Isa, Hervey Bay, and Toowoomba, where he developed a special interest in skin cancer care. He went on to complete a portfolio of advanced certifications in the field.
As Queensland is the skin cancer capital of the world, Dr Jackson enjoys the opportunity to minimise the impact of skin cancer on his patients via prevention, early detection, and timely treatment. He is adept at both non-surgical and surgical skin cancer therapies, including complicated procedures, and strives to tailor a treatment plan to suit each individual.
