Dr Els Joossens is a general practitioner highly experienced in all areas of skin cancer medicine. She completed her medical degrees in Belgium in 1996, and for the past three decades she has practised in Belgium and Australia. While working in Central Queensland she became highly involved in skin cancer management, and for the past few years she has worked full-time in a skin cancer clinic where she deals exclusively with skin lesion diagnosis and treatment. Dr Joossens is currently undertaking a master’s degree in Skin Cancer Medicine at The University of Queensland – the highest skin cancer certification available in Australia.
