Dr Teneille Boyland is a Central Coast local who completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the Australian National University in 2012. She is currently completing her master’s degree in skin cancer with The University of Queensland to certify her extensive background in the field. She has practised in skin cancer medicine since 2015.
Upon completion of her medical degree, Dr Boyland moved to North Queensland where she worked in hospital settings and among rural and indigenous communities where skin cancer is prevalent. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and began to dedicate much of her practice to skin cancer care before returning home to the Central Coast.
Early detection is of particular interest to Dr Boyland, who is passionate about the prevention and early treatment of skin cancer, as like many families in Australia, her own family has been touched by the disease.
