Annette Nuich is a dedicated Registered Nurse Melanographer who works in the early detection and prevention of skin cancer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced Studies) from The University of Sydney and has completed advanced postgraduate studies in the diagnosis of skin lesions, including a Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and a Professional Certificate of Dermoscopy which arm her with advanced training in dermoscopic examination and the use of imaging technology to analyse skin lesions.
Annette has accumulated significant experience in melanography and uses her clinical skills to detect melanoma and other skin conditions. Annette is the WA Representative for the Australian Dermatology Nurses' Association and won first prize for her case study submission at the 2024 National Conference.
In her practice, Annette emphasises a patient-centred approach, focusing on clear communication, education, and support. Her goal is to ensure patients are well-informed and comfortable throughout their care journey. Annette is known for her attention to detail, thorough examinations, and approachable manner.
