Dr Hamilton Ayres is a renowned doctor dedicated to skin cancer management in Australia, as a regular presenter and demonstrator at the only university-certified skin cancer education courses in the country through our sister organisation HealthCert Education, assisting other doctors in obtaining the skills required to detect and treat skin cancer. He enjoys teaching as well as engaging in the surgical side of skin cancer medicine, and has a wealth of experience practising in skin cancer in Victoria. His extensive experience is backed by advanced qualifications in skin cancer, including Certificates in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine, Dermatoscopy and Histopathology from HealthCert Education and The University of Queensland School of Medicine.
Dr Ayres completed his medical degrees at Flinders University in 2004 and worked in Adelaide as a Plastic Surgery Registrar at Flinders, Repatriation General Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where his main role was the management of trauma, hand injuries and difficult skin cancers. Dr Ayres is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
