An experienced doctor with postgraduate qualifications in the field, Dr Htike Aung’s special interest in skin has seen her dedicate her practice to the diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of skin cancer and related skin conditions. She strives to detect and treat skin cancers as early as possible to reduce disease mortality and improve patients' quality of life.
Dr Aung completed her medical degrees in 2009 and worked across hospitals and general practices in Myanmar before relocating to Australia several years ago to practise in Western Australia, Victoria, and now Queensland.
