Dr James (Jim) Sprouster is an experienced GP with advanced training in skin cancer management. He completed his medical degrees in Western Australia before relocating to northern Queensland to pursue family practice with a special interest in skin malignancies. He has worked across many communities with some of the highest skin cancer rates in the world, including Emu Park, Yeppoon, and Theodore. He has previous experience across a broad scope of medicine in Wollongong and Fremantle.
Dr Sprouster is passionate about improving access to high quality skin cancer care because of its high prevalence in his community. Witnessing first-hand the devastating impacts of the disease inspired him to pursue a career where he can make a tangible difference in his patients’ lives.
