Dr Leah Spencer has dedicated her practise to skin cancer care since 2021 and is currently completing a master’s degree in Skin Cancer from The University of Queensland – the highest level of education available in the field of skin cancer detection and treatment. She holds a portfolio of other certifications in skin cancer from HealthCert Education, the Australasian College of Dermatologists, and the Skin Cancer College Australasia.
Dr Spencer obtained her medical degrees from the University of Tasmania in 2016 and worked in Tasmania, Darwin, and Adelaide for some time before completing rotations in dermatology and plastic surgery and settling into general practice, where she developed a passion for skin cancer work. She is adept at the use of dermoscopy for the accurate diagnosis of skin malignancies, performing curative skin cancer procedures, and providing follow-up and surveillance for her at-risk patients in the Adelaide community.
