Dr Nada Abu Alrub

With more than 19 years’ experience, Dr Nada Abu Alrub has a diverse background in both medical and surgical fields. She trained at prestigious hospitals such as the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and St George Hospital (where she completed a Dermatology Fellowship), and has worked in various GP clinics across Australia. She holds a portfolio of advanced certifications in skin cancer and aesthetic medicine, is a lecturer at The University of NSW, is a GP Advisor with General Practice Registrars Australia, and holds current memberships with top dermatology societies around the world.

Dr Abu Alrub’s special interest lies in dermatology and skin cancer medicine. She is passionate about these fields because they allow her to combine her medical expertise with a personalised approach to healthcare. She strongly believes in the power of holistic and preventive medicine. By focusing on early detection and treatment of skin cancer, she hopes to improve her patients' overall health and wellbeing, and she always strives to ensure patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.

In 2018, Dr Abu Alrub was awarded a Dermatology Scholarship with the European Academy of Dermatology & Venerology in Paris. She has also received a Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing for the International Journal of Women’s Dermatology. She possesses a warm and compassionate personality that puts her patients at ease. In her time off she travels to refugee camps to help people in need. 

She looks forward to welcoming new patients for complete skin cancer care at Gold Coast Skin Centre in Tugun.
