Dr Patricia Gutierrez holds a Certificate in Dermoscopy and has a passion for the early detection of skin cancer, which she recognises as one of the most significant and time-sensitive illnesses burdening North Queensland. She is experienced in skin cancer detection, excisions, surgical repairs, and conservative and non-surgical treatments. She has a special interest in managing seniors’ skin health and encourages her patients’ input in decisions regarding treatment and prevention strategies.
Dr Gutierrez completed her medical degrees in 2010 and undertook advanced skin cancer training with Dr Helena Rosengren. She has worked in public hospitals and general practices ever since, including here in Townsville.
