Dr Paul Paterson holds a Master's degree in Skin Cancer Medicine and a portfolio of other university-certified Advanced Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine, Skin Cancer Surgery, and Dermoscopy. He enjoys teaching and is currently a Course Instructor within the UQ Masters of Medicine (Skin Cancer) program, a Course Facilitator for HealthCert skin cancer practical workshops and welcomes third year UQ medical students during their general practice rotation. He has practised at Redcliffe Skin Cancer Centre since 2016.
Dr Paterson graduated from The University of Queensland in 2003. He completed his residency at Gold Coast Hospital in 2005, before undertaking GP training on the Gold Coast and Yeppoon until 2009. Dr Paterson is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He looks forward to welcoming you for a comprehensive skin check!
