Having practised medicine for about 25 years, Dr Renee Bilkey brings a wealth of experience to Tasmanian Skin Clinic. Her proficiency in skin cancer management is backed by advanced certifications in the diagnosis and treatment of skin malignancies. She obtained her medical degrees from The University of New South Wales in 1999 and has worked as a GP and Medical Forensic Examiner in various localities across Australia (including in Burnie and Devonport) since 2000. Dr Bilkey finds it highly rewarding to be involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin cancers, since the disease is so common in our Australian climate – even in Tasmania! She enjoys working closely with her patients to educate them on how to reduce skin cancer risk and assist in early detection.
