Dr Selena (Billie) Saykao graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2009 and holds certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy from the Skin Cancer College Australasia and university-certified certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine, Skin Cancer Surgery and Dermoscopy from HealthCert Education. She spent six years training in multiple surgical specialities including plastic surgery, general surgery and obstetrics. She worked at both the Launceston General Hospital and The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne before entering general practice and then moving exclusively into skin cancer management. She is passionate about the early detection and treatment of skin cancer.
