Dr Shihui Lai

Dr Lai graduated from Western Sydney University in 2011 and has extended her professional knowledge of skin cancer management for the past several years. She is particularly interested in the field of skin cancer detection through comprehensive skin cancer checks of patients of all ages and has worked in a dedicated skin cancer centre for many years, providing medical and surgical management of the disease including biopsies, excisions, suturing and cryotherapy in different regions of the body. Since the skin is the largest organ of the body, Dr Lai believes that preventative skin checks are part of a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. She is passionate about dermoscopy as it is the first and most crucial step in skin cancer detection and management.
Dr Lai is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
